We need your help to bring our expertise in school design and implementation to SXSWedu 2019! Our proposed session will help participants understand, practice, and bring student-centered design to their schools and communities.

Public voting comprises 30% of the selection process. PanelPicker, the online portal for public voting, is open through Thursday, August 30th. Please help us bring our session to SXSWedu by creating an account and voting for our session, which will be run by our ED Elina Alayeva and our manager of school design and instruction, Xochitl Garcia.

Elina and Xochitl will run an immersive workshop in which participants can discover the value of student-centered school design. First, pairs will collect student information – through items like transcripts and sample social media posts – to create a student profile. Then they will join forces with other pairs to escape the confines of traditional school by creating experiences uniquely tailored to their “students.” In addition to voting, we hope you will also join our session to flex your innovation muscles and break out of the traditional understanding of “school.”
